Prof. Shuohan Liu received his Ph.D. degree from the School of Computing and Communications, Lancaster University, UK in 2022. Post his doctoral studies, he held a research associate position at the University of Warwick, UK, and served as an external research assistant at both Beihang University and Wuhan University in China. Currently, he is a Professor at Shandong Computer Science Center (National Supercomputer Center in Jinan), Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences), China. His research interests are focused on the optimization of heterogeneous integrated charging services for electric vehicles, demonstrating commitment to advancing sustainable transportation technologies.

In this talk, we will delve into the optimization of Electric Vehicle (EV) smart charging management and scenario iteration. With the increasing popularity of EVs, the demand for effective and efficient charging strategies has become more pressing. This talk will introduce the latest research developments in the field of EV smart charging system management, focusing on optimizing charging management systems to adapt to the ever-changing urban traffic environment and grid demands. This talk will discuss the basic framework of smart charging management systems, including the selection of Charging Stations (CS), scheduling of EV charging services, and the interaction between the grid and EVs. Subsequently, this talk will explore charging management strategies in different scenarios, such as differing charging requirement in city center and suburban areas, and the variations in electricity usage during peak and off-peak times. Through iterative analysis of these scenarios, we will demonstrate how to adjust and optimize the use of different charging modes to improve the efficiency and reliability of the overall EV charging system. This talk is suitable for scholars and students interested in EV charging system, as well as anyone concerned with sustainable transportation and energy systems.
