About Robert Bismuth Robert Bismuth, a Swansea University alumnus, is a renowned technologist and entrepreneur based in Seattle. Graduating in 1974 with a First-Class degree in Pure Mathematics, he established his first high-tech startup in Swansea, collaborating with financial institutions to enhance transaction and trading speed. This early success, influenced by Swansea’s emphasis on problem-solving and innovation, marked the beginning of a groundbreaking career. Today, as President and CEO of Fermat International, he leads the development of transformative big data analytics technologies, delivering performance advantages far beyond industry standards. With a career spanning decades, Robert has held senior leadership roles in private and multinational companies, managing teams of up to 1,000 employees. Known for his strategic vision and technical expertise, he has driven innovation across industries, securing multiple influential patents and raising capital for high-tech ventures. His contributions extend to advising investors and conducting due diligence, solidifying his reputation as a leader in technology and entrepreneurship.
